Binst Breeding & Selection has its own production of more than 1000 Ha which we entrust to a number of selected growers in Belgium and Luxembourg. We produce potato seeds in the best soils of the Ardennes and the Polders. We advise, support and monitor our growers all year round, also when they grow new varieties. Videosource : VLAM.

Quality is key! The inspection service and our in-house product manager analyse fields and samples. Modern sorting equipment, storage rooms end packing facilities can be customised to deliver a wide variety of solutions for certified seed potatoes. The excellent service and flawless traceability system have been a source of confidence in the delivered products by Binst Breeding & Selection for our customers for years.
BREEDING
There are hundreds of potato varieties, each with a combination of characteristics that make a variety unique. By crossing two potato varieties, new hybrid varieties are created. With the future in mind, these hybrid crossings undergo a selection process year after year so that only the varieties with the best results are retained.
MULTIPLICATION
When a potato variety confirms its qualities year after year, the choice is made to start multiplying. A field is planted from which, after inspection by the inspection service, certified seed can be delivered.
